New Volunteer Nominees
Camile Beckford-Johnson is a seasoned 昀椀nance professional with extensive experience in leading
昀椀nancial operations and strategic initiatives. As Head of Finance, she excels in 昀椀nancial management,
analysis, and planning, driving organizational success by optimizing processes and promoting 昀椀scal
responsibility. Her track record includes achieving key targets and fostering transparency, accountability,
and continuous improvement.
Camile holds a Bachelor of Science from Northern Caribbean University and a Master of Science from
Walden University. She is committed to keeping her skills current through professional development.
Beyond her career, Camile serves as an Elder at her church, supporting spiritual growth and community
engagement. Her passion for faith, family, and football helps her 昀椀nd balance. Her expertise in 昀椀nance,
leadership, and community service makes her an asset to the Customs and Border Control Service,
where she oversees 昀椀nancial planning, reporting, and stakeholder relations.
Kimberly McLean is a Financial Services professional with over 16 years of experience in Finance and
Accounting, including Big 4 audit, fund administration, and public sector 昀椀nance roles. She has
dedicated her time to organizations in and outside of the Cayman Islands and is seeking new
opportunities to serve.
During college, Kimberly helped charter service organizations and served as a board member for various
campus groups. Since returning home, she has remained active in one of these organizations and serves
on the Ministry of Education's scholarship interview panels. She was a charter member and vice president
for Membership of the Civil Service Toastmasters Club and has participated in numerous beach cleanups and charitable fundraisers. In her Government roles, Kimberly has sat on the Sister Islands Affordable
Housing Board and, in her acting capacity, has chaired the Public Transport Board and Hotel Licensing
Board.
Marzeta Bodden is Deputy Director of Tourism Product Development at the Cayman Islands Department
of Tourism, leading initiatives to enhance tourism. With 20+ years of experience across aviation, tourism,
education, and 昀椀nancial services, she has held roles at Cayman Airways, Appleby, and the Cayman
Islands Government. At Appleby, she managed business development and founded Cayman Food
Tours. She has worked on projects like the Rio 2016 Olympics, TEDxSevenMileBeach, and Celebrate
Cayman.
Marzeta holds a Master's in Marketing Management, a dual Bachelor's in Finance and Marketing, and is a
certi昀椀ed PMP®. She specializes in strategic marketing, communications, and project management. A
Rotary member since 2009, she has held leadership roles, including Past President of Rotaract Blue
Cayman Islands. She currently serves as Youth Services Director of Rotary Central Cayman Islands.
Outside work, Marzeta enjoys dancing, exploring cuisines, and practicing yoga. She believes in giving
back and making a positive impact.
Shari Howell is a partner at Maples and Calder (Cayman) LLP, based in the Cayman Islands of昀椀ce of the
Maples Group. She has extensive experience in asset 昀椀nance, specializing in aircraft 昀椀nancing and
leasing, including capital markets and Islamic 昀椀nance, as well as vessel 昀椀nancing and corporate
commercial matters. Shari primarily advises banks, 昀椀nancial institutions, export credit agencies, airlines,
and aircraft lessors.
Since joining the Maples Group in 2006, Shari has completed secondments in Dubai and Hong Kong
(2013-2015) and has been recognized in publications like Air昀椀nance Journal, Who’s Who Legal, and The
Legal 500. Previously, she served as the Foster Care and Adoptions Coordinator at the Department of
Children and Family Services in the Cayman Islands Government.
Admitted as an attorney in the Cayman Islands in 2008, Shari is a member of the Cayman Islands Legal
Practitioners Association. She holds an LLB with First Class Honours from the University of Liverpool and
a Diploma in Legal Practice with Distinction from City Law School, UK. Shari has been a Credit Union
member since 1996.
