Concern for the Local Community
Our Credit union strives to increase community
involvement each year. During the 2023 - 2024 昀椀nancial
year, we:
•
Incentivised our employees to improve participation
by allowing a day off for volunteering in the
community.
•
Collaborated with local vendors and CUC to offer our
members a” green” loan to promote energy ef昀椀ciency
and cost savings.
•
Hosted the 昀椀rst annual youth workshop on 昀椀nancial
literacy. The credit union, supported by CIMA, led the
workshops, which 96 youth members attended.
Through our Rupert McCoy Educational Grant
Programme, we awarded a total of $250,000 to various
students interested in pursuing their vocational or
academic studies. The table below shows a detailed
breakdown of the grants awarded in 2023 and 2024.
