Taught by William Blake – Students learn the basic principles
and health benefits of any one of the three Martial Art styles
of your choice listed below. Topics to be covered may include
kicks, punches, blocks, forms, tumbling, falls, breathing, history,
and self-defense. At the end of the course, students will be
able to test for a belt in their Martial Art style. Hapkido style
will involve tumbling. Equipment fee will be collected at the
first class.

Taught by Master Lynnette Love, a 1988 Olympic Gold Medalist and 8th Dan
Grandmaster, who has been teaching since 1984. Students will learn basic kicking,
punching and self-defense skills through repetition and will promote through various
belts to the ultimate goal of Black Belt. Sparring techniques, kicking targets, and
basic forms (pattern to an invisible opponent) are some of the physical elements of
taekwondo. Equipment fee will be collected at the first class. No class February 17.
Testing Fees:
$55 (up to Jr Red Belts); $70 (Red Belts to Jr Black Belts); $70 Uniform and $25 T-Shirt fee (Optional)
