Youth Soccer
Southern Maryland Youth Soccer League
The Southern Maryland Youth Soccer League is first and foremost a recreational
sports program. Its purpose is to provide an opportunity for youth to participate in
soccer within designated age divisions. League play will be a round-robin schedule
consisting of 8-10 games. For more information on available leagues visit www.

Southern Maryland Youth Pee Wee Soccer League
This non-competitive program is designed to develop skills and promote fun in a
“Good S.P.O.R.T.S.” atmosphere while participating in loosely organized games. Two
One-hour practice are held weekly. Games are held on Saturdays beginning April 15.
Practices start March 17. Season runs through June 8. Age as of December 31, 2024.
Pickleball
Pickleball is a fun sport that combines elements of tennis, badminton, and table
tennis. The rules are simple, and the game is easy for beginners to learn, but
it can develop into a fast-paced, competitive game for experienced players. Learn
to play this fun and exciting game and then put your skills to the test in friendly
games. All necessary equipment is provided. Dates and times subject to change.
Pickleball is available at Piccowaxen Community Center, Port Tobacco Recreation
Center, and Waldorf Senior & Recreational Center. Contact the facility directly for

Racquetball
Court usage is limited to one hour. Players must bring own equipment, towel,
and water bottle. Can practice racquetball or pickleball. Contact the facility
directly for the current schedule.

Have fun playing while learning the fundamentals of soccer in a “Good S.P.O.R.T.S.”
atmosphere, bringing together families and aspiring players weekly to learn and
practice the fundamentals of the game. Practices are scheduled to begin mid-march.
Games are held weekly beginning April 15. Season runs through June 8. Coaches
will contact players regarding practice schedules. All teams will participate in a
postseason tournament. Age as of December 31, 2024. 18-year-olds must be eligible
to play at high school level.
Registration Fee: $80 • Save $15 if registered by February 5
