OUR CORPORATE PARTNERS
AND VOLUNTEERS
Our corporate partners and volunteers are at the
very heart of our programme, providing each
and every child that we help with dedicated,
tailored, one-to-one support to enable them to
unlock the power of reading.
Each year we sign-up existing and new partners
from a wide variety of sectors and company
sizes, who provide the volunteers and funding to
support the continuation and growth of our
work. We are proud that our partner retention
rate has averaged 89% in the years since 2018,
with many of our supporters having completed
five years with the programme.
Rising to the challenge of increased demand
from our school partners for reading support,
2022-23 saw an increasing number of companies
step up. We thank the 111 corporate partners
who, as part of a commitment of their
businesses to give back to communities and
deliver social value, believed in the
transformative power of literacy.
We also thank the fantastic 2,108 employee
volunteers from our partners for the consistent,
practical support they provided over the school
year to struggling children in the early years of
their education journey, so that they were set up
to succeed.
