Homelessness.
To help eliminate this barrier,
Chapman Partnership provides
access to an on-site psychiatrist
Family Service
Families and children represent
44% of Chapman Partnership’s
residents. In order to serve this
growing population segment, we
provide dedicated family dorms
and have developed programming
that caters to their specific needs.
Within 48 hours of admission, all
children are enrolled in school
through an on-site liaison with
Miami-Dade County Public
Schools. Bus transportation,
uniforms, and school supplies are
provided to each child. We also
have a Head Start-funded daycare
for children under the age of 5.

Residents have access to onsite
support groups. The dedicated
mental health staff works closely
with the case manager and
resident to ensure functionality
and a balanced quality of life.

medical clinic
Within 72 business hours, all
incoming residents are evaluated
by the medical team at our
clinics operated by Jackson
Health System. The clinics are
designed to stabilize and address
the immediate needs of our
residents, including acute health
problems and chronic conditions.
During their stay we provide,
preventative medical care,
chronic disease management,
immunizations, health screenings,
and prescriptions. We become
their primary care provider during
their stay.
Our on-site Family Resource
Centers – the Miami HEAT Learn
& Play Center in Downtown Miami
and The College Football Playoff
Foundation Technology Lab in
Homestead provide after-school
programming for our children
to provide tutoring services,
mentoring, quality educational
and recreational activities that
support character and esteem
building. Our Centers also provide
evening family enrichment
activities which include recreational
activities and family bonding
programs. Children and parents
also enjoy access to our computer
lab, a library of donated books,
games, toys, and other recreational
and educational resources.
With on-site childcare during the
day, parents have the flexibility to
find stable work and housing. Our
combination of programs not only
ease the transition into the shelter
but also help build the foundation
for a self-sufficient life once they
have left.
