Serve a Meal
Volunteers are
the backbone
of our mission.
The opportunities to help the
homeless are endless. Join
our team of more than 12,000
volunteers to help empower our
residents to self-sufficiency. If you
haven’t volunteered before, the
first step is to attend a volunteer
orientation on-site or online.
Start by joining in on one of
our monthly lunch tours to
get a behind-the-scenes look
at our centers to see how we
support our 800 daily residents
around the clock. Sign up for
one of our lunch tours held the
first Thursday of the month at
the Downtown Miami Center
and the third Tuesday of every
month at our Homestead
Center.
Residents at Chapman
Partnership are served three
hot meals a day, year-around,
totaling more than 800,000
meals annually. Volunteers
have the option to prepare,
serve, and/or sponsor any
meal. This is a great volunteer
opportunity for an individual,
a small group of friends, or
larger groups.
Family Resource
Center (FRC)
Families with small children
represent a growing segment
of our Centers’ population.
There are various hands-on
volunteer opportunities and
family enrichment activities
at our FRC centers including
reading books, helping with
homework and/or projects,
hosting a game night, or
putting together a group
activity for our youngest
residents. Chaperones are
always needed for Summer
Camp Chapman.
Beautification and
Landscaping
Help our maintenance
department with general
assignments around the Centers
including painting, landscaping,
grounds keeping, cleaning,
and warehouse organization.
These types of projects
make for a great corporate
teambuilding opportunity.
Corporate
Service Days
Community leaders and
businesses play a vital role in
the success of our programs.
Your organization can make a
meaningful contribution to our
Centers by hosting a corporate
team-building activities such
as an activity at our FRC to
support our families and
children, on-site events and
special projects, entertainment
for residents, or offering your
company’s services to
our residents.
Donation Drives
Our quarterly drives are a great
way for groups to get involved
by collecting much-needed
items such as school uniforms
and undergarments, school
supplies, toiletries and baby
essentials, toys, household
items and so much more,
that are given directly to
our residents.
