DESIGNATED FUNDS
Designated Purpose Funds (endowed and non-endowed) allow donors to name one or more specific organizations or agencies
to benefit annually from the fund. If endowed, each gift is invested for long-term growth to provide perpetual support to the
organization(s). Designated Purpose Funds are good choices for donors who want to support a charity or charities for multiple
years so that distributions can be spread out over time to help with the charity’s planning. The fund can be named after a
designated organization, in honor of a loved one, or another name that highlights the fund’s purpose.

ANNE ARUNDEL LEGACY SOCIETY
Planned gifts help donors create a lasting legacy with the Community Foundation of Anne Arundel County. Donors can
establish new funds, direct donations to nonprofits, or create named permanent funds when a planned gift is realized.
CFAAC facilitates charitable gift annuities to provide lifetime income for loved ones, with a charitable gift afterward.
CFAAC works with donors and their professional advisors to achieve their philanthropic goals, offer guidance on giving
options, and ensure a meaningful impact. By joining the Legacy Society at CFAAC, donors entrust us as stewards of their
vision for the community's future and partner with CFAAC to shape a legacy aligned with their values.
