Community foundations like the Community Foundation of Anne Arundel County, are available for local
emergencies, can discover pockets of need within a community, provide high-quality philanthropic services to
donors, offer expertise based on their deep understanding of local needs, and organize informative programs
to strengthen nonprofits and educate the community. CFAAC is uniquely positioned to connect philanthropic
dollars with local nonprofits that are working directly with communities and residents in need.
In 2022, members of the CFAAC staff and Fund Development Committee, carefully worked with CFAAC’s
Strategic Plan to draft a Road Map to $35M in assets by 2025. As a result, a detailed, four-year, fundraising plan
was outlined. The plan includes increasing: Immediate Impact Funding, Endowment for CFAAC, Assets for
Discretionary Grantmaking Funds, and Endowment Commitments.

leading the way.
CFAAC celebrates its 25th anniversary in 2023. This is CFAAC’s
defining moment; it is the time for us to not only look back at our
achievements, but also move forward to new levels of success.
How can you help?
• Open a Donor Advised or Corporate Advised Fund.
• Continue to grow your existing Donor Advised Fund or
Corporate Advised Fund by adding gifts that can be put to
work immediately.
• Support CFAAC’s future by contributing to our
Endowment.
• Leave a legacy by creating an Endowed Fund for causes
that you care about or by making a planned gift to CFAAC.
• Pool your resources together with other donors by giving
to one of CFAAC’s Discretionary Funds.
