Foreword and Thanks
I find researching political committees to be
illuminating and annoying. Annoying, because
sifting through the subterfuge is something
none of us should have to do. It will be a great
day when transparency is the rule of the day,
when Citizens United and “plausible
deniability” is a thing of the past. Illuminating,
because this research reveals who is spending
big dollars to gain influence in local
government.
As the research is detailed and requires careful
attention, my apologies in advance for any
mistakes that may be found in this information.
PAC research is a snapshot in time, and active
political committees will change in
contributions and donations. The closed
committee data won’t change. Any errors
found are unintentional and will be gratefully
and cheerfully corrected whenever possible.
