historically has made the August GOP primary
the decisive race for choosing County
Commissioners. Now that we have single
member district elections for County
Commission, grassroots candidates have a
shot at winning. For all the money spent to
defeat Mike Hutchinson, he came very close to
defeating Mike Moran.
In 2024, former Charter Review Board member
Alexandra Coe is running against Teresa Mast
for the District 1 seat being vacated by Mike
Moran (he is termed out). Mast campaign
funds exceed $200,000. Mast donors have
utilized diûerent LLCs to bundle $1000
donations to support her. Benderson aûliates
have contributed $13,000, Carlos Beruû
aûliates have contributed $10,000, $10,500 is
