Christopher Cook Maersk’s new MD for
India,
Bangladesh, Sri Lanka
Maersk has announced Christopher Cook as Managing
Director for India, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. Cook brings a
wealth of experience, having held several key leadership
roles at Maersk, the most recent being his current role as
the Managing Director of UAE, Oman and Qatar. In his new
role, Cook will lead Maersk’s commercial organisation in
these geographies.
Cook transformed the product profile by leveraging the
ocean portfolio in the UAE and successfully expanding into
critical areas such as Air Freight and Contract Logistics. Cook strongly advocates for
decarbonisation, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DE&I), and Corporate Social Responsibility.
SWISS names Alain Chisari as Head of
Swiss WorldCargo
Swiss International
Air Lines (SWISS) has
appointed Alain
Chisari as the new
Head of Swiss
WorldCargo. In this
role, Alain will oversee
the airline’s global air
freight division and
will be responsible for developing and
implementing its business strategy.
Alain joined SWISS in 2008 with 12 years of
industry experience from other airlines. He
began as Head of Leisure Sales and later
became Head of External Relations and
Alliances. In 2013, he moved to SWISS’s sister
airline, Edelweiss, serving as Chief Commercial
Officer and Management Board Member for
five years. Alain then spent five years as Vice
President for Asia and Pacific and later in
EMEA Area Management at Lufthansa Group.
One year ago, he took on the role as Implementation Officer for ITA Airways.

and Performance Manager
Etihad Airport
Services has appointed Shriram Maruwada
as Senior Cargo
Planning and
Performance
Manager. A seasoned
professional in the air
cargo aviation
industry, Maruwada brings extensive
expertise in aviation operations, terminal
business planning, key client relationships,
airline marketing, route development,
revenue management, commercial strategy,
and startup collaboration.
Previously, Maruwada served as Enterprise
Resources Planning Manager at GMR
Hyderabad International Airport, where he
played a crucial role in optimising resource
planning and improving operational
efficiency. He has also held significant
positions at Celebi Delhi Cargo Terminal
Management and Coforge, further refining

his skills in cargo management and
technology integration.
Von Götz to head global fulfilment
operations of Lufthansa Cargo
Lufthansa Cargo has
officially announced
the appointment of
Oliver von Götz as the
new Head of Global
Fulfilment Management. In this role,
Götz will be responsible for overseeing
global warehouse operations, enhancing the
production system, and managing customer
service for the cargo airline. Additionally, he
will serve as the primary point of contact for
regulatory authorities.
Götz brings 13 years of extensive experience
in the aviation industry, drawing on a wealth
of knowledge and expertise, particularly in
the areas of network management, strategy,
and sales. Before joining Lufthansa Cargo, he
held the position of Head of Corporate Airline
Strategy and Business Development at
Lufthansa Airlines within the Lufthansa
Group, where he played a key role in shaping
the airline’s strategic direction.
Prakash Singh takes charge of Jeena
Criticare as COO
Prakash Singh has
been named as the
Chief Operating
Officer (COO) of
Jeena Criticare
Logistics, the
healthcare division of
Jeena & Co. In his role
as COO, Singh will be
responsible for developing and implementing
strategies to enhance the organisation’s
revenue generation capabilities by optimising
logistics and operations, exploring new
markets, managing financial performance,
and fostering innovation.
With nearly a decade of experience in
domestic supply chain and international cold
chain freight forwarding, Singh has occupied
a number of crucial roles and has contributed
significantly to Jeena & Co’s success in the
pharmaceutical vertical since his joining in
2016.
ACS appoints Robert Alleman as new
CEO for its US time-critical services
Air Charter Service
(ACS) has appointed
Robert Alleman to
head its North
American time-critical services as CEO,
based in Texas.
Robert will be based in
ACS’s Houston office
to run things from this side of the Atlantic,
with our other base being in Frankfurt.
Robert brings with him a wealth of experience in time critical logistics, having held
similar roles at a specialist courier company,
as well as a broker and has worked in the
Middle East and across the US. He joins from
time-critical logistics service provider Royale
International. Prior to that, he was OBC
manager USA for Chapman Freeborn.
Christine Watts takes the role of
Business Development Manager at
ABP
Associated British
Ports (ABP) has
appointed Christine
Watts as Business
Development
Manager, with a focus
on developing innovative carbon capture
and storage (CCS)
value trains and transport solutions.
Before joining ABP, Watts served as a lead
commercial advisor at Neptune Energy, where
she played a crucial role in developing
non-pipeline transportation solutions for CO2
and identifying opportunities for offshore
green hydrogen production through integrated energy hubs. Additionally, she brings
significant expertise in commercial and joint
venture activities, as well as project and
change management, further enhancing her
capacity to drive ABP’s sustainability initiatives.
AMTOI elevates Arun Kumar to the
role of President
At the 25th AGM of
the Association of
Multimodal Transport
Operators of India
(AMTOI), Arun Kumar,
Managing Director of
InSynergy Supply
Chain Solutions, was
appointed as
President, signalling a fresh direction of
growth and innovation for the multimodal
transport sector.
Arun began his career in logistics and
international supply chain in 2001. His passion
and performance led AMTOI to name him
Convener of the Northern Regional Chapter in
2018, and he was co-opted to the Executive
Committee as Honorary Treasurer in 2020.
Arun also serves as Honorary Secretary at the
Air Cargo Forum of India (ACFI), having
appointed to the Board of ACFI in 2016.
