onsiderable freighter capacity is
expected to be removed from the
market as more belly capacity
returns and also because the
cost of operating all-cargo aircraft no
longer matches the market rate and
demand. What’s your opinion and how
do you view this?
My view is that while the total freighter
capacity might decrease, it is unlikely to
be entirely phased out. Freighters remain
indispensable to the logistics sector due to
their ability to handle speci昀椀c types of cargo
that are tailored for dedicated freighter operations. Thus, while the number of freighters
may diminish, they will continue to play a
crucial role in transporting cargo that cannot
be accommodated by passenger aircraft.
Moreover, it is true that freighters are
becoming more expensive to operate, which
influences general market preferences.
However, it is important to note that the
