I draw inspiration from Dhirubhai Ambani,
a legend of India and a global industrialist.
His journey, from a small village boy to one
of the world’s top industrialists, is truly
inspirational. Another figure I admire is Prime
Minister Narendra Modi, a living legend who
exemplifies leadership. He teaches us to
value what we have and appreciate the small
joys in life. He has also taught us; how to
present, market and achieve great heights.

Legacy in Logistics
Over the last four decades, my
father Lalit Jobanputra has played
a crucial role in shaping the logistics and freight forwarding sector
in India. Starting as a Clearing
Agent for Air Cargo, he has steered
the growth of our family business
into a key player in Container
Freight Station, Warehousing, and
Cold Storage. Today, the company
stands as a signi昀椀cant presence
in major cities such as Mumbai,
Delhi, and Bengaluru. Joining
this industry felt like a natural
progression for me, continuing
the legacy of our family business.
Sacrifices and Success
With more than 15-16 years
committed to this industry, my
passion for the work remains
steadfast, and I derive immense joy
from what I do. Like any dedicated
individual, achieving professional
milestones has required sacri昀椀ces.
Yet, the value and satisfaction
drawn from the achieved success
often prove to be more signi昀椀cant
and ful昀椀lling than the sacri昀椀ces
made. In the end, it is the accomplishment and sense of ful昀椀llment
that truly matter.
Breaking barriers towards
shaping Success
Entering the Logistics Industry,
I encountered the notion that
it’s a man’s world. As a Trainee,
surrounded by male colleagues,
I delved into the intricacies of
the industry, exploring diverse
cultures and learning various
facets of the business. Over 17
years, I broadened my expertise,
working in Operations, Administration, HR, and Finance. Each
day remains an opportunity to
learn and relish new experiences
in this dynamic 昀椀eld.
Leadership Lessons
My father is my greatest inspiration and motivator – a mentor,
guide, friend, and teacher. With
over four decades in the Logistics
industry, he imparts invaluable
wisdom, urging me to ‘keep pushing, keep hoping, keep trying,
and success will always come.’
His perspective on failure as the
first step to success resonates
deeply, ensuring I stay resilient.
Adapting and Evolving
In our industry, a multitude of
events, situations, and instances
continually unfold, each o昀昀ering
valuable learning experiences.
Over the years, I have honed the
skills to navigate these challenges,
contributing signi昀椀cantly to the
shaping of my identity and professional persona.
Courage in Action
Dreaming is wonderful, goal
setting is crucial, but action is
supreme.
Courage is doing what you
are afraid to do. There can be no
courage unless you are scared
before you do it. Courage is not
the absence of fear but rather the
judgment that something else
is more important than fear. Be
fearless and believe in yourself.
