Hapag-Lloyd and Flowfox initiate pilot project to
revolutionise import container release processes

apag-Lloyd has partnered with LogTech
startup Flowfox to
launch a pilot project aimed
at transforming the import
container release processes.
Initially, the project will be
rolled out in France with
Kuehne+Nagel and in Germany
with another major freight forwarder, as announced by Flowfox.
The pilot will operate within a
closed testing environment for the
昀椀rst three months to ensure the
application is robust and error-free
before expanding to a broader
customer base and additional
countries. The main objective is
to automate the release of import
containers between Hapag-Lloyd
and its customers, addressing the
current manual and error-prone
processes to achieve signi昀椀cant
e昀케ciency gains.
The project will utilise
Flowfox’s Drop-off Change
product to optimise the empty
return processes of containers,
directly bene昀椀ting customers.

of this collaboration, noting,

TVS SCS secures 5-year contract with Daimler
Truck South East Asia

VS Supply Chain Solutions
(SCS) has announced a
new five-year contract
with Daimler Truck South East
Asia, a Daimler Truck AG company, to provide Integrated Supply
Chain Solutions (ISCS) services
in Singapore. This agreement
cements TVS SCS as a primary
logistics partner for Daimler
Truck AG, facilitating logistics
services between Germany and
the Asia-Paci昀椀c region.
The partnership between
TVS SCS and Daimler Truck
South East Asia will focus on
establishing a logistics solution
for distributing spare parts and
related items. This will streamline supply chain operations for
Daimler’s distributor network,
dealers, and workshops across
16 Asia-Pacific countries from
a logistics centre in Singapore.
The collaboration will manage
8,000 SKUs and 65,000 order
lines annually, catering to diverse
storage needs and ensuring seamless transportation via air, Full
Container Load (FCL), Less than
Container Load (LCL), and road,
along with customs clearance
and Dangerous Goods (DG)
declarations.
MSC rolls out new Osprey service connecting
Asia and South East India

SC has launched its new weekly service,
Osprey, to bolster connectivity between
Asia and Southeast India. The Osprey
service introduces a direct route, significantly
reducing transit times and facilitating smoother
trade 昀氀ows between these pivotal markets. This
initiative is poised to unlock fresh opportunities
for importers and exporters, fostering increased
commercial activities between these strategic hubs.
The Osprey service complements MSC’s exist-

ing Shikra service, strengthening the Asia-India
service network. The inaugural journey is slated
to commence from Ningbo on 23 July, with MSC
Somya leading the maiden voyage. The service will
traverse key ports: Shanghai, Ningbo, Singapore,
Colombo, Ennore, Visakhapatnam, and back to
Ningbo. MSC guarantees seamless end-to-end
connectivity, promising transit times of 15 days
from Ningbo to Ennore, 17 days to Visakhapatnam,
and 19 days to Kolkata via Visakhapatnam.

INDAMEX shipping
line, designed to cater to the
growing demand between the
Indian Subcontinent and all
major US East Coast ports. The
new service is set to enhance
trade connectivity and support
efficient supply chain management amid disruptions in major
maritime routes. The INDAMEX
shipping line will feature a
round-trip rotation every 77
days via the Cape of Good Hope,
covering the following ports:
Port Qasim, Nhava Sheva, Mundra, New York, Norfolk, Savannah, Charleston, and back to the
Indian Subcontinent. This route
is designed to ensure comprehensive coverage of key ports,
facilitating robust trade links.
MatchLog
collaborates with
Haulio to enhance
logistics efficiency
in Southeast Asia

Southeast Asia’s digital haulier.
This partnership marks MatchLog’s entry into the Southeast
Asian market, leveraging Haulio’s
established presence in Singapore, Thailand, and Indonesia,
according to an official release
from MatchLog. The collaboration aims to drive significant
advancements in logistics efficiency and environmental sustainability across the region. As
part of this collaboration, MatchLog’s triangulation solution will
be integrated with Haulio’s smart
digital container trucking platform. MatchLog’s solution, which
matches import containers with
export needs to eliminate dry
runs and reduce trips to empty
container depots, will complement Haulio’s digital ecosystem.
