Golf
Gamble Sands
Situated high above the Columbia River, just 45
minutes north of Lake Chelan, Gamble Sands was
built by David McLay Kidd, the Scottish Architect,
and author of Bandon Dunes. No matter the
direction, views include: snow covered Cascade
Mountains, thousands of acres of apple and
cherry orchards, multiple river vistas and
mountains of black basalt.
Bear Mountain Ranch Golf Course
Opened in 2005, Bear Mountain Ranch Golf
Course is an 18-hole masterpiece, with every hole
expertly designed to showcase incredible views of
the lake and mountains. With five tee boxes per
hole, this course is perfect for golfers of all
experience levels.
Lake Chelan is a golfer’s dream
destination.
Golf one or all eight courses, all within just a
short driving distance of the Lake Chelan
Valley. Golfers enjoy a wide variety of facilities
just minutes from the lake.
Rock Island Golf Course
Rock Island is located just outside East
Wenatchee and boasts 18 brand new or
revamped holes. Set on the north bank of the
Columbia River, the surrounding basalt cliffs of
Central Washington give you quite the view as
you enjoy a full day of play.
Lake Chelan Golf Course
Alta Lake Golf Resort
The Lake Chelan Golf Course is the original 18
hole golf course in Chelan. Located on a small
plateau overlooking the lower end of Lake
Chelan and the City of Chelan, the Lake Chelan
Golf Course has long been a favorite of visitors
and locals. Starting off as a private golf course
built by community members in 1969, the Lake
Chelan Golf Course was given to the City of
Chelan in 1975.

Only 20 minutes from Chelan in Pateros, Alta
Lake Golf Course is the hidden gem of the
Methow Valley. After the Carlton Complex Fire in
2014 devastated much of the resort, Alta Lake
bounced back with a brand new pro shop,
maintenance facility and golf cart fleet. The
course itself is lusher and more beautiful than
ever before.
