Judge C.C. Campbell and his wife moved their family from
Hotel Chelan opened in 1901 and there were 16 guest rooms
Iowa after one look at the Lake Chelan scenery. The original
that still exist upstairs above the Pub & Veranda. The original
hotel property was purchased for $400 in 1898. In 1889 a
hotel guest book can be viewed downstairs, below the Pub &
room cost 50 cents per night & 50 cents for dinner.

In 1858, Abraham Lincoln wrote a letter to Arthur I,
