the animal shelter which have not been
seized under the Act. This may include
cats that have been given up to the
pound by their owners or lost or injured
cats that have been ‘rescued’ by the
public; and

area of responsibility about the
requirements of the Companion Animals
Act and the ownership of companion
animals.
