SUB-METERING
Sub-meters must be installed where there is more than one usage of a facility to allow breakdown of
usage. Sub-meters must be installed for each room, level or major equipment such as HVAC and have
wi-fi capability.
Current Transformer or CT metering is to be installed for the facilities with sub-metering to allow
Camden Council to lease out particular spaces to end users within the community.
The following is the predominant operational arrangement:
− Sports fields and building
− Remainder of open space areas
Proposed sub-metering required to achieve this is as follows but should be confirmed with Camden
Council prior to commencing the design.
− Electrical Services
+ main building
+ external lighting
+ miscellaneous open space area elements such as Irrigation and the like
− Water Services
+ main building
+ water to all remaining external areas
