− An on-site waste water system is to be located away from areas which are used by people and is
required to be fenced to ensure that the areas above it are not used by the public for recreational use;
− All systems connecting to an on-site waste water management system are to have a back-up pump as
well as a visible and audible alarm clearly located in case of failure and with back to base capability. A
fixed sign is to be located adjacent to the visual alarm that shows a phone number at Camden Council
to be called in case the alarm is activated;
− An on-site waste water disposal system is to have a Certificate of Accreditation issued by NSW Health;
− The entire system is to be designed by a suitably qualified waste water design consultant; and
− In addition to requirements of the waste water authority, a Management Plan for on-site waste water
disposal is required to be submitted with all application documentation .
ELECTRICAL SERVICES
Ensure the following in the design and construction documentation for electrical services:
− The Electrical Distribution Board is to house the building systems as well as the field lighting controller;
− Natural lighting is to be utilised in each space;
− Provision to be made for electric vehicle charging at relevant community facilities;
− Light Emitting Diode typical to light fittings in all spaces;
− External lighting shall be vandal-proof and IP56 rated. It shall be primarily controlled by a PE cell;
however, include a manual override switch located in the Electrical Distribution Board;

− Lighting to be zoned to allow for individual control;
− Internal lighting to be controlled by motion detectors in some spaces:
+ Lighting for all Change Rooms, Toilets, and Stores to be operated with a motion sensor with a
manual override housed in the Kitchen or Kiosk / Canteen.
+ Lighting control for Kitchen and Kiosk / Canteen as well as all other areas to be controlled with a
manual switch within each space.
− Locate lighting directly over hand basins / mirrors.
Solar
Solar Photo Voltaic panels to be installed and sized to meet projected average daytime energy usage.
Wherever possible comply with the target of generating at least 20% of the site's energy from solar
panels, consistent with the draft Design and Place SEPP.
Ensure that both north and west facing roof area is provided to suit the dimensions and installation of
solar panels including all associated fittings, connections and the like. Solar panels are to be designed
to suit the use of the building. Provision of a battery can be considered where the dominant energy use
occurs at night time.
If Solar Photo Voltaic panels are not part of the immediate construction works for the building, allow
provision for them to be incorporated in the future.
