WARRANTIES HAND OVER
CONSULTATION
DESIGN + DOCUMENTATION
The Contractor
shall warrant the
construction of the
works including
materials and
installation with a
warranty in writing
submitted to the
Contract Administrator
prior to the Date of
Practical Completion.
A meeting is required
to occur on site no
more than 30 calendar
days after the Date of
Practical Completion
and will be held to
explain the operation
of the Public Building
to Camden Council
representatives.
The Contractor
shall also obtain
and ensure that the
Camden Council will
have the benefit of all
warranties applicable
to the materials and
installation included
in the construction
works.
Establish and maintain regular consultation points
with Camden Council throughout the design and
documentation period.
Co-ordinate the necessary consultation points with
the Camden Council prior to the commencement of
the design process.
The departments of Camden Council to be
consulted during the design + documentation
process include but are not limited to the following:
- Sport & Recreation
- Building Maintenance
- Waste Management
- Health
CONSTRUCTION
Establish and maintain regular consultation points
with Camden Council throughout the construction
period of the process.
Involve a Representative from the following
Camden Council departments to confirm keying
requirements for a Public Building:
- Building Maintenance
- Waste Management
Involve a Representative from the following
Camden Council departments in inspections that
assess the works for Practical Completion:
- Building Maintenance
Involve a representative from the Camden Council
Environmental Health department in inspections for
the following Public Building types:
Food Premises where Food is for Sale including Retail
Fitouts, Canteens or similar
Public Swimming Pools including Splash Parks
Cooling Towers and similar regulated areas
