DESCRIPTION OF SPACE
A space dedicated for use by community members to prepare drinks or heat food.
To provide an area that can be used as an alternative to installing a full size kitchen to a Community
Centre.
A Kitchenette is not required to be connected to a Community Hall area if a Kitchen is
included in the design of the building to be connected to a Community Hall area.
A Kitchenette may be required by the use of the building to be connected to other spaces of
the building.
A Kitchenette is defined as a space for self service where food is not for sale and as such is
not required to adhere to food safety regulations.
