Natural Areas
− Seats should be provided in natural areas at regular intervals, generally along new and established trails.
− Seats should always be located along a proposed or established path. This is to discourage trampling,
footings, and maintenance within protected vegetation.
Easements
− Seats should be provided on the perimeter of the easement at regular intervals (at least one every 50
metres).
Sportsgrounds
− Spectator seating should be designed to enable a wheelchair user to access and sit together with the
main body of spectator seating.
