2.8.1 What is a Sportsground?A sportsground is an open space that primarily provides infrastructure for structured sporting activities,for public use inside the Camden LGA. They can include an open space with a single sports field or aseries of sports fields.2.8.2 What is a Sports field?A sports field is a formalised playing area also known as the field of play for various sports located withina sportsground.A sports field includes the run off areas that a player is likely to enter while playing a match, such as thearea beyond the side lines in association soccer and rugby league.
