What are transmission easement areas?
Transmission easements are an essential component of public infrastructure. The functional
requirements of overhead power lines impose a corridor which can present opportunities for open
space. These corridors are encumbered by the safety, access and maintenance requirements of the
supply providers and their integration in neighbourhoods is a particular challenge.
Any information related to transmission easements must be read in conjunction with Camden's
Dedication of Constrained Lands Policy.
