Facility checklist
RECREATIONAL CATCHMENT BOUNDARY:
The recreational catchment boundary is the projected area, which will be serviced by the proposed park. The catchment
corresponds to the park size and hierarchy. For example, a local park would normally have a catchment of 400m radius
- 5min walk. A district park would service a greater area determined on the basis of the nearest similar facility and
topographic or man made boundaries, such as water courses, bushland or major roads.
