Design Manual Framework
The COSDM sits within a hierarchy of documents guiding development within the Camden LGA.
All of the current documents applicable to development are included or referenced on the Camden
Council website. www.camden.nsw.gov.au.
The COSDM provides detailed direction for the design and construction of the public domain and
is to be read with all of its companion manuals, details and specifications. These documents are
referenced throughout the COSDM.
In addition, all design and construction, including all materials and workmanship, are to be completed
in accordance with all relevant and current regulations, including but not limited to:
− National Construction Code (NCC);
− All relevant Australian Standards; and
− The requirements of all relevant authorities, including Camden Council.
