Cairngorms National Park Event Planners' Guide - Manual / Resource - Page 7
Warm your cockles at
one of the many whisky
distilleries across the
National Park - from Royal
Lochnagar in Balmoral to
Dalwhinnie (the highest
distillery in Scotland) on
the western entrance.
This iconic industry has
shaped Scotland and will
bring a warming sense
of place to your event.
Spectacular for Everyone
The Cairngorms National Park is here for everyone to
access and enjoy, and we love events that are open to as
many folk as possible.
The Cairngorms National Park Authority has some helpful
information here and Euan’s Guide and Able to Adventure
(based just outside Aviemore), are a brilliant starting point
for planning events that are accessible and inclusive. Able
to Adventure offer off road wheelchairs and adaptive bikes
for hire; brilliant for ensuring events are accessible to those
who don’t ordinarily have access to this equipment or
whose own wheelchair is unsuitable.
If you need any more information please get in touch we can point you in the right direction for venues,
suppliers and lots more!
