Free day today to enjoy Queenstown. Take the Lake Wakatipu
trail just below the hotel for a leisurely walk into town and a ride
on the queen of the lake the steamship, Earnslaw. Sample one of
the many one eateries, including the famous Ferg Burger!
Or go further aoeld and book on our recommended wine tour,
with Appellation Wine Tours. The afternoon Classic Wine Tour
visits three premium vineyards including Gibbston Valley
Winery9s underground wine cave. You will have three wine
tastings, one with cheeseboard. Explore the Gibbston Valley and
surrounds, the AJ Hackey bungy bridge and Kawarau River. The
cost is $219 per person.
Day 3: Saturday 8th February
Queenstown to Clyde to Ophir
Cycling on: Central Otago Rail Trail
Assemble in the lobby this morning at 7.45am and you will be
picked up at 8.00am by Central Cycle Trail Company, the shuttle
will take approx. an hour. On arrival at their depot, you will collect
your package that includes bag tags for your transfers and will
then pick up your hire bike and be professionally otted for
optimum comfort. Your bags will be transferred to your
accommodation.
