SAFETY AND WELFARE
We are committed to maintaining a friendly,
welcoming and safe learning environment for
all. Your safety and welfare are of the utmost
importance, and our Safeguarding Team will respond
immediately if there is a suspicion that any student
may be the victim of any form of abuse.
Bury College has an Equality Policy, promoting an
inclusive culture for all, and is committed to the
government’s national strategy for ‘Prevent’ which
safeguards you from extremism and radicalisation.
We are members of Operation Encompass in
partnership with the Bury Safeguarding Board and
Greater Manchester Police.
If you need to contact the safeguarding team, please
send an email to: safeguarding@burycollege.ac.uk
