Drivers and Values
At Buntingford First School we have a very clear set of values
regarding the children’s learning which can be summed up by ‘ACE’:
Achievement, Care and Excellent Standards. ACE underpins
everything that we do and provides a secure basis for all to strive and
accomplish and runs throughout our school.
Our vision for our school is to produce responsible young people of whom we can all
be proud, who have achieved more than they ever believed possible and who are
prepared to make a contribution to their local, national and global communities.
Central to the vision of Scholars’ Education Trust and the new Buntingford First
School is the shared belief of the entire community that all young people have the
right to a transformational educational experience, that will enable them, no matter
what their starting point, to fulfil their potential and realise their ambitions.
The ACE will underpin all of Buntingford First School’s work and provide a secure
basis for all that the BFS community will strive to accomplish. We want Buntingford
First School to be a school at the heart of its community, of which the whole town
can be proud.
