Avocado Toast

This version of avocado toast incorporates cottage cheese for added protein.

| 12 slices hearty whole grain
bread, toasted
1. Lay bread slices out on a large cutting board.
| 600 g (2½ cups) cottage cheese
| 1 ripe avocado, sliced
| 1 tomato, sliced
| Salt and pepper, to taste
2. Top each with cottage cheese. Sprinkle with salt and
pepper.
3. Top cottage cheese with avocado and tomato slices then
season with another pinch of salt and pepper.
Cottage cheese is very rich in protein and an excellent source of calcium,
which plays a major role in tooth and bone health.
