BS 593 spirit olled laboratory thermometers
The following laboratory thermometers are an ideal instrument where greater precision and accuracy is needed.
These thermometers have been developed as spirit olled alternatives to the mercury olled BS 593 Speciocation
Laboratory Thermometers. They are instead olled with a Low Hazard non-wetting blue liquid, except those marked
with a * that are olled with gallium. The A series thermometers have divisions of 0.1°C and the B series divisions of
0.2°C. Both series are available in both 100mm and total immersion.
All these thermometers can be suppled with UKAS calibration certiocate or statement of conformity on request.

All our laboratory thermometers can be supplied with full UKAS certiocation on request.
Our facilities conform to (BS) EN ISO/IEC 17025:2005 3 8General requirements for the competence of testing
and calibration laboratories9. For temperature measurement our laboratory can calibrate all types of liquid-inglass thermometers i.e. both spirit and mercury.
Certiocation is available for test temperatures between
-60°C and +250°C.
