Introduction to Palestinian Christianity
Christians have inhabited the Holy Land since
the beginnings of the faith. Dr. Jason Zaborowski
of the Department of Philosophy & Religious
Studies at Bradley University will acquaint you
with modern Christian Palestinian thinkers, giving
attention to how they understand their own
heritage of dwelling in the lands where Jesus
walked while, for centuries, living as minorities
within Muslim and Israeli societies. This seminar
will address many questions about Palestinian
Christians, such as: how do they relate to Muslims
and Jews, how do they interpret Scriptures, how
do they understand their unique connection to
Christian holy sites, what are their denominations,
and how do they relate to Western Christians.
