Immerse yourself in the arts and culture of Paris
during the “Golden Age” of the Belle Époque
(1870-1914). Tour key landmarks of the period,
from the Eiffel Tower to the Moulin Rouge, and
explore the birth of artistic movements including
Impressionism and Art Nouveau. Julie Averbach
holds a B.A. in History of Art and Psychology from
Yale University. To date, Julie has led art tours for
5,000+ people from 22 countries.

In this discussion group, we’ll explore four of
the greatest mystery and thriller books of all
time, ranging from timeless classics to modern
masterpieces that have de昀椀ned the genre.
Participants will explore key themes such as
suspense, unreliable narrators, and unexpected
plot twists, while also exchanging personal
insights and book recommendations. Participants
are highly encouraged to read each book for a
richer discussion experience. The reading list will
be discussed in the following order: The Long
Goodbye by Raymond Chandler; Devil in a Blue
Dress by Walter Mosley; What the Dead Know
by Laura Lippman; Turn of the Key by Ruth Ware.
Whether you’re new to the genre or a seasoned
mystery lover, this group is open to all.
