serving as the financial portal for philanthropic giving to Boise State,
encompassing several roles and functions that collectively promote
the long-term sustainability and success of the university. Roles under
the Foundation include fundraising, donor and alumni relations, data
management, communications and marketing and asset management.
BOLD Alumni: Broncos Of the Last Decade (BOLD).
Bridge Program: The Boise State University Foundation has set aside
funds to provide current scholarships to students for new, qualifying,
scholarship endowments funded with an outright gift. The match
begins following the donor’s first payment and runs for four years. See
page 19 for more information.
Bronco Athletic Association: Often referred to as “the BAA,” is a
separate 501(c)3 organization that promotes and advances the athletic
programs of Boise State University and creates opportunities for
student-athletes.
Bronco Giving Day: Boise State’s 36-hour online fundraising drive to
support campus-wide initiatives. The first Bronco Giving Day was held
in Fall of 2018, and since then, donor support on Bronco Giving Days
have totaled more than $2.2 million. The goal of Bronco Giving Day is
to bring the Boise State community together to celebrate the Bronco
spirit by sharing, following or financially supporting programs that have
made an impact on the lives of people everywhere.
Campaign: An organized effort to raise a specified amount of money
for a particular purpose, in a specified period of time.
