WORKING WITH STAFF TO ENGAGE PROSPECTS
The most important aspect of your role as a volunteer is to help bring
potential donors into a closer relationship with the university. You are
not alone in this effort. Regular communication with your development
officer will help guide you on how to make these connections.
DEVELOPMENT STAFF WILL ASSIST YOU BY:
•
Providing you with helpful background information and
materials for your discussions
•
Collaborating with you on strategies
•
Helping you with correspondence, including letters and gift
acknowledgments
•
Accompanying you on visits, as appropriate
•
Providing you with networking opportunities with university
leadership and insider updates at Boise State
