Ernie’s dedication to Boise State and the success of our studentswas clear through his volunteerism and student advocacy. A generous donor to the university, healso served as the president of the Bronco Athletic Association and on the Boise State Foundationboard of directors. He and his wife, Carol, financially supported Boise State Athletics and severalcollege programs and founded the Ernest & Carol Hoidal Alumni Business Scholarship and the Caroland Ernest Hoidal Nursing Scholarship.
