The Adelaide/ Mount Lofty and Wittunga Botanic Gardens provide ideal backdrops
for wedding ceremonies and commercial wedding photography. Due to the
gardens[ popularity and sensitivity/ the Board of the Botanic Gardens and State
Herbarium require commercial photographers to purchase a permit to conduct
commercial wedding photography. Please telephone the Wedding and Events
Coordinator to check availability prior to booking. Please ensure your
photographers correct email address has been included. Electronic permit must
be carried on day.
BO O KI NG S
Bookings are confirmed upon receipt of the full payment of x200 and completed
registration form. A permit will be sent the day prior to the event. Please ensure
you have the wedding photography permit with you on the day of the shoot/ an
electronic copy will suffice. For commercial photography undertaken in the
Adelaide Botanic Garden/ entry into the Bicentennial Conservatory is inclusive.
Please indicate upon booking if you require this.
VE HI CLE AC CE S S
The Adelaide/ Mount Lofty and Wittunga Botanic Garden Gardens Department of
Environment Water and Natural Resources has strict policies regarding vehicle
access. Wedding or private vehicles are not permitted into any of the Garden.
Please ensure your wedding car drivers are aware of loading zone and parking
regulations at the Gardens. Fines apply.

It is understood that the organiser;photographer will conduct themselves in an
orderly manner in full compliance with the Adelaide/ Mount Lofty and Wittunga
Botanic Gardens Department of Environment Water and Natural Resources
policies/ regulations and with all laws/ which are amended from time to time. The
client is financially responsible for the damage to the plants and turf areas or loss
of merchandise left prior to or after the photography. Organisers;photographers
should arrange their own insurance if necessary.
U S E O F T HE BO T AN IC GA RDE NS
The Adelaide/ Mount Lofty and Wittunga Botanic Gardens are a public space
which can have other public and private events at the same time/ therefore we
ask you and your guests give consideration to other visitors. Clients are not
permitted in the garden beds or to handle plants or climb trees. No interference
shall be caused to flora and fauna of the Gardens. Clients will be held responsible
for damage/ and will be charged the cost of restoration. The use of drones is
strictly prohibited within Adelaide/ Mount Lofty and Wittunga Botanic Gardens
and Botanic Park by the regulations issued by the Civil Aviation Safety Authority

Please ensure that the site is left free of damage and litter. Rose petals/ rice and
confetti are not permitted in the Garden. Fines and charges will apply if cleaning
is required.
