viii. Similarly, is there something it does want for you? What would it really like to happen? Take your
time with all of this.
ix. Whatever you discover about what the Inner Critic wants or does not want for you, can you feel
that in your body? Can you observe the sensation and, as it will, observe it shift and change, or
even go?
This exploration will bring you closer to understanding, working with and softening the Inner Critic.
The important key to this inquiry is to take time, not to push. Practice just noticing and observing
what arises, perhaps be curious but don’t push for more.
Don’t push for answers.
By waiting
patiently, much like drawing the kitten out from under the bush, you will come to learn. And in time, it
may even transform.
