Bergmeyer | 2023 Corporate Social Responsibility Report
As we re昀氀ect on 2023, I am proud to celebrate the ways that Bergmeyer has continued
to practice as a design collaborative rooted in purpose. The ways we focus on equity,
inclusivity, sustainability, and civic engagement in both our professional and personal
lives is central to the way we work, whether through our design e昀昀orts, the professional
and civic commitments of our team, our scholarship programs, and our charitable giving.
This second annual Corporate Social Responsibility Report describes what we
accomplished in 2023 as we use the resources of our organization to enrich and
strengthen our communities, to support organizations that advance equity and social
justice, to help mitigate and adapt to the climate crisis, and to create opportunities for
young people to explore careers in design.
I am especially pleased to announce that in 2023, in partnership with Parallel
Sustainability LLC, we launched Bergmeyer+, a consultancy collaboration dedicated
to empowering retailers to make a positive di昀昀erence in the world through sustainable
practices. The Bergmeyer+ e昀昀ort once again puts our collaborative design practice on
the leading edge of a multi-industry evolution toward a more sustainable world.
We hope that you 昀椀nd inspiration in the stories within this report, and that you share
our enthusiasm for boldly engaging the world, whether through civic work, or through
thoughtful, creative, and inclusive design practices.
