The Resident Training portion of the Professional Studies Year 1 Program is held at the Courtyard by Marriott Albany
Airport in Albany, New York. Centrally located in the capital of New York State, the School is near the Albany International
Airport, and minutes from the NY State Capitol building and Empire State Plaza, as well as two major interstates, I-87 and I-90.
During each class week*, the Barbara Brennan School of Healing utilizes most of the hotel’s flexible meeting space.
The class meets in one of the hotel’s large ballrooms, while individual classes take place in more intimate meeting rooms.
During the Resident Training, the hotel becomes a wonderful, vital community that provides an invaluable support
system for the students staying there. Because of the nature of the intensity and complexity of Resident Training, we strongly
recommend that students stay on campus at the hotel for Resident Training.
Courtyard by Marriott Albany Airport, located at 227 Wolf Road, just off of Exit 4 of I-87 (Adirondack Northway), offers
spacious guest rooms and suites, and offers amenities such as a fitness center, indoor heated pool, high speed internet, as well
as The Bistro restaurant, serving breakfast in the morning and casual dining options in the evening. Students make their own
accommodation arrangements directly with the hotel.
