EvaluationProceduresAll faculty members have a deep commitment tosupporting the student’s Personal Process and holding therequired standards set by BBSH, so that the quality andintegrity of the healing work can be maintained. It is oursincere desire and intention to provide all BBSH studentswith timely and specific information about their progress,so that all blocks to learning can be addressed withsupport, compassion, and honor for the deep healingand change students encounter in their work here.The following evaluation/feedback system is in place tokeep students informed of their progress and any concernsthe faculty has of the student’s ability to complete the year,move on to the next year, or graduate. It is the intentionof the faculty to provide continual updates to studentsabout the progress they are making throughout theProgram. We want every student to know exactly wherehe/she stands, and we encourage any student who isnot certain to ask his/her Small Class Teacher. Studentsalso receive verbal feedback, suggestions, and evaluationsfrom their Small Class Teacher during each week ofResident Training.There are several ways a student will receive writtenevaluation and feedback:• Student Progress Report• Student Letter Form• Distance Learning Modules• Final ExamStudent Progress ReportThe student’s skills progress is recorded on a StudentProgress Report during the Resident Training session bythe Small Class Teacher with input from the student’s otherfaculty members, such as Supervisors and the Class Dean.This report tells students whether their performance of aHealing Science, Psych-Spiritual Development or CreativeArts skill, or Professional Practice or Integrative Carerequirement, is either Passing (P) or Not Passing (N).The Student Progress Report also lists the class week inwhich the student will be taught a skill and the classweek by which the student should have passed the skill.Students must pass all the skills listed on their StudentProgress Report in order to progress to the next class year,or to graduate.31
