Who to See forInformation and SupportStudent Affairs DepartmentThe Student Affairs department holds the template ofintegration for the BBSH student, providing guidance andsupport in areas such as school requirements, policies, andexpectations. The department is usually the first point ofcontact for incoming students, assisting them across their fouryear journey at BBSH.School Advisory BoardThe School Advisory Board holds the vision and overviewof the School. It is instrumental in maintaining the directionand focus of an excellent integrated education in BrennanHealing Science. In this position as Steward, it holds a kindand loving consideration for all those who come in contactwith the School.The School Advisory Board acts as manager and liaisonbetween the governing body, faculty, students, general public,and the BBSH office.Class DeansThe Class Dean is the one individual who is fully responsiblefor his/her class year. The Class Dean is “there for the students,”concerned about their well-being, how they are doing in class,and how they are developing as spiritual beings.A Class Dean holds an overview of the entire class andits curriculum, integrating the departmental teachingrequirements into the overall theme for the year’s work.Class Deans are also responsible for the continuity,consistency and quality of the teaching. They direct andguide the team of Small Class Teachers—to create andmaintain an environment in which the vision for the School,the students, and the Teachers is upheld.Small Class TeachersSmall Class Teachers (SCTs) are those individuals who havebeen approved by BBSH to present course material and befully responsible for holding the energy of the smallclassroom—the student’s home away from home—managingthe learning process and assuring everyone’s safety. The SCT isresponsible for skills teaching, evaluation, and maintenance ofstudent records. He/she is there to support students at all times,and to lovingly guide the emergence of their healership.Audiovisual & Logistics StaffThe logistics staff coordinates all logistics of every classwith the hotel, acting as liaison between the School and thehotel for all logistical and administrative communications.The audiovisual staff provides audiovisual technical assistanceand operates all sound and camera systems.35
