Counselor Qualifications
The Deans, Teachers and Project Advisors serve as academic
and professional counselors during the student’s education.
The minimum education requirement for academic and
professional counseling is six years of training at the School,
which includes the four-year Brennan Healing Science program
and the two-year Advanced Studies program. In addition, many
of our teaching staff, Directors and Deans possess other
academic degrees, and have training in a variety of majors.
(See Faculty Overview.)
Student Records
Records of academic progress are permanently maintained
by the School, kept in a computer database at our administrative
offices and backed up nightly to assure their integrity. In
addition, hard copies of these records are kept on file in the
School’s administrative offices. Records of academic progress
are also furnished to the student.
Placement Assistance
Placement assistance is provided to students through
Professional Practice classes in all four years of undergraduate
work. These classes are structured to assist the student in
setting up their own healing practice or integrating their skills
into their current profession. Topics may include: How to Start
a Practice, Interfacing with the Medical Community, and
How and When to Make Referrals.
All graduates are assisted in setting up a healing practice.
The BBSH Find a Practitioner lists graduates of all BBSH
degree and diploma programs, and has been provided in
response to tens of thousands of inquiries regarding Brennan
Healing Science Practitioners. The list is posted on the BBSH
website (www.barbarabrennan.com). It provides an effective
way for potential clients to find a graduate healer.
BBSH International List of Graduates
BBSH has the sole discretion to include, or not include,
a graduate student’s name on its brochures, literature,

name remain on BBSH’s brochures, literature, advertisements,
websites, or on any other written or electronic BBSH materials.
BBSH will, at all times, have the discretion to withdraw a
graduate student’s name from its written and electronic materials.
