Student Letter FormFinal ExamAt times, the faculty may need to communicatetheir concerns to a student about his/her progress.Such concerns may include the following:Each year students take a comprehensive Final Examthat evaluates knowledge in Healing Science, PsychSpiritual Development, Creative Arts, ProfessionalPractice, and Integrative Care. The Final Exam is gradedon a pass/fail basis; a passing grade is 70%. Final Examsare administered in English only.1. The student is having difficulty passing a HealingScience, Psych-Spiritual Development or ProfessionalPractice requirement.2. The student is having difficulty or is unwilling toengage in his/her personal process and takeself-responsibility for his/her actions and attitudes.3. The student is experiencing physical or psychologicaldifficulties that significantly affect his/her ability toperform the class work.4. The student will not pass the current year of studyand will need to repeat the year.5. The student will pass the current year of study butwith conditional requirements for the following year.6. The student does not adhere to the School policiesand ethics, and/or is consistently violating classrequirements, procedures or ground rules.This information is conveyed to the student either directlyon the Student Progress Report (may not pass/will notpass), or by a Student Letter Form and a meeting with thefaculty clearly indicating both the issue and the severityof the issue, and defining if the student is in jeopardy ofnot moving on to the next class or not graduating. The formwill indicate if the student is to be placed on probation,and the steps the student needs to take to be returned togood standing.Distance Learning ModulesDistance Learning Modules (DLMs) are graded on apass/fail basis. Small Class Teachers may write feedbackon each student’s lessons, helping them to go deeperinto their developing healership. Students are required tocomplete all DLMs by the assigned due dates.30
