Dr. John T. Carter Agricultural College
Construction for the Dr. John T. Carter Agricultural College
(Dr. JTCAC) was completed in February of 2018. The Dr.
JTCAC was started because of the need Liberia has for food
production. The idea of the school was conceived with
three goals in mind: to produce food, provide food for the
people, and preserve seeds for future generations. At Dr.
JTCAC, we believe that food security is national security
and the person who feeds you, controls your destiny.
The Dr. JTCAC harvested its first rice farm, twenty (20) months after the dedication of their education building in
February, 2019. Rice-Farming in Liberia runs from January to October each year. Our goal at Dr. JTCAC is to double
our rice harvest yearly. (Pictures of Rice Storage building and rice crop below)

The John & Fran Carter Library & Community Center
Dr. John and Fran Carter played a tremendous part in the process of building
the village library and community center in 2010. Because of their faithful
support from 2008 -2011, they blessed EGIM and the village in Liberia by
making the venture possible.
When asked what motivated them to want to help children in Africa that they
may never have the chance to see, John and Fran stated that they were
impressed with what they saw Pastor Gibson and others doing and felt that
the Lord was leading them to give. The Carter’s not only made financial donations to the school, but sent books as
well. Their generosity has been an ongoing blessing to the students at MHCMS and the villagers at Dordeneewein.
