Sports
Sports is an active part of the community life. Through sports community relations and leadership skills are
developed on an ongoing basis. Soccer is a major sport in Africa. As such, students, faculty, and staff of MHCMS
enjoy multiple games during the school year.

Travel
The rainy season occurs between the months of April and November in Liberia. It is not uncommon for roads to be
entirely washed away. This makes travel during this time extremely treacherous. The difficulty in moving from one
area to another can prove fatal.
The main road was washed away during the
monsoon. Cars taking teams who were delivering
supplies to MHCMS were stuck for two days.
