Set your goals.
Those who allow others to establish their plans and goals are going to be unhappy.
Often a Christian will get involved in investments or get-rich-quick schemes
because others around him seem more successful.
Remember, God has a plan for your life. Your neighbor does not.

STEPS IN LONG RANGE PLANS
Long range goals are the results of short-range plans linked back-to-back. Long
range planning God’s way will provide, but not protect. It will insure your resource
is an asset, not a liability.

Establishing maximum financial goals rather than minimum.
Normally we fix our goals on attaining riches and establish some motives for
accumulating money. At first the amount may be a few thousand dollars, but it is
quickly adjusted as the funds are available. God’s plan is that we establish a
maximum goal and predetermine not to allow excessive accumulation.
