Listening involves paying close attention to what is said and accepting it as another
person’s thoughts or feelings, right or wrong, without condemnation. If you have
really listened, you should be able to restate accurately both the content and the
feeling of a message. You are not listening if you are thinking about what to say
when the other person stops talking.
